As the setting sun was bidding adieu, they returned home...So did we with the melancholy of the nature promising for another bright day....
Boats are an important means of transportation when it comes to crossing the Ganges. It is particualrly pleasant during the summer when the gentle breeze caresses the body and embraces as a little child embraces the mother.
PP- I did not add sepia as a part of PP here. It was actually taken with my camera in 'Sepia' mode.
Auto levels , a bit of contrast and fold sharpening was all that made my PP workflow.

shot is nice but the lighting looks artificial. instead of sepia you could have taken the shot in natural colours. this is just my opinion though. i think colour of sunset must not be tampered with.

The concept is really good. The colors are also great, brings a feel of melancholy with it. I think you get more options if you take the shot in real colors, instead of sepia. Don't lose the real information, sepia can be made easily. Entirely your choice though.

As Shaeri has correctly pointed out-Don't loose the natural information of colours.Well, this is not looking good at-all.You can easily find the difference between your previous post where you have added a touch of Sepia in PP and here where you have taken it in Sepia mode. For experimenting and learning it is fine.Hope you have understood the difference.

This was a great shot..look at the sun positioning..the skyline and the trail of rippled water left behind by the silhouetted boat..but two things has spoilt the image here...one the tone and also the sharpening..did u notice the skyline where all the buildings have a halo on the top..!!
Evn in this tone I liked the foreground with nice waves and good clarity also..!!
look at this image closely, u will understand that you have improved a lot as far as composition is concerned..!!

Great shot! I will not comment much about sepia as there is enough remarks below! However the comparison between the original and in sepia can help, Regards, Balwant

Good shot of this sunset scenery across the river, with calm water and warm light.
Very nicely composed. Sepia looks fine here.
Nice work. TFS

this mood at sunset time is very peaceful.
the setting sun and the silhouette of boat make beautiful contrast in this orange world.
the surface of the Ganges looks rippled quietly.

Why did you use the filter for this?.. as I feel the natural colours could have been very good! For the mood of such shots, where the setting sun casts a pinkish light, It's always better to keep the natural colours IMO. Well done with the silhouettes & palcement of the boat.

how to go home when sun it still there and the mood is so pleasant? :) Beautiful capture with great silhuette work. I like the horizon made by built structures and a boat clearly coming from it, of the same characteristic, of the same shape. Most lovely atmosphere with warm and gentle early evening light. Beautiful capture.
