Photographer’s Note

Hello EVERYBODY!!

D'abord de tous je voudrais partager de bonnes nouvelles avec vous toutes. Ma photographie ' ; ' décomposé ; a été édité dans le journal. Les TEMPS de l'INDE, CE QUI EST CHAUDE, PHOTOGRAPHIE, samedi 31 mai.

Je sais I haven' ; t signalé pendant un moment maintenant. Je concurrençais dans un tournoi d'échecs du lundi - le vendredi. 11/60 rangé.

Ce projectile a été pris les mi matins d'été de Puri autour de six. Le ciel n'était pas clair et donc j'ai manqué le plaisir de lever de soleil. Cependant, je pouvais casser quelques projectiles des fishermens sortant pour travailler tôt le matin. La vie est vraiment dure. La mise en route de juste un bateau prend beaucoup d'effort. D'abord ils réduisent le bateau près du projectile avec 5-6 personnes. Alors j'ai vu le prochain esprit de deux personnes le moteur. Le moteur est fixé extérieurement. Pas sure comment ils le contrôlent. Alors un autre duo vient prêt avec le filet. La dernière poussée par 3-4 personnes et alors elles enlèvent contester les vagues et la mer puissantes.

Je pense que j'ai fixé l'horizon cette fois mais croped toujours une grande partie du ciel pour focaliser le bateau.

First of all I would like to share a good news with you all. My photograph 'Broken down ' was published in the newspaper. THE TIMES OF INDIA , WHATS HOT , PHOTOGRAPHY, SATURDAY 31st MAY..

I know i haven't posted for a while now.. I was competing in a chess tournament from monday - friday . Ranked 11/60 .

This shot was taken on the mid summer mornings of Puri around six . The sky was not clear and therefore i missed the sunrise delight .. However , i was able to snap some shots of the fishermens going out to work early in the morning . The life is really hard.. Getting just one boat started takes a lot of effort. First they bring down the boat near the shot with 5-6 people . Then i saw two people coming wit the motor . The motor is fixed externally . Not sure how they manage it. Then another duo comes ready with the net. The last push by 3-4 people and then they take off challenging the mighty waves and sea.

I think i have fixed the horizon this time but still croped much of the sky to focus the boat..

beautiful moment! i love the composition and the action happening in the frame. the BW gives the photograph a very dramatic mood. the dark clouds in the foreground give an indication of the climate.

I prefer this one of your series "boats" because is more dinamic than the other ones. There is the sense of moviment in the ocean as well as in the people. even the light seems better.

A good daylifescene from the beach.Perfect placement of the boat and the working men.Nice B&W tones and good contrast,but the waves in the distance look a bit unnatural,Too much neatimage???
Anyway it`s a good shot.

hi Sayan

Good to know your earlier post chosen by newspaper. Keep it going. Yes, this post is another B&W and tilt is a factor you kept in mind to avoid. Such is sharing. I think this photo has grains and the use of noise reduction has caused some effect on the sand, the water beyond and even some oversharpen edges. Good composition and pov.

Try to post original color as WS. Sometimes color may be a nice option too.

Hi Sayan,
I like this shot and your note. Brings out the life of a fisherman most wonderfully. Looks good in B/W. I have a favor to ask from you, I am thinking of visiting Puri when I visit India next time. Can you tell me exactly where I can find these fisherman in action so that I can take a few shots like yours? :)
