Photographer’s Note
HELLO EVERYONE!!
! Attente généreusement vos critiques.
IN ENGLISH,
Sorry for posting a bit late after a long time... I really got busy with life ... I wont be posting very often like earlier since there is too much and i am not getting any time to sit on the PC. Hope you guys understand...
This was my first day in Puri.. The beach was very crowdy and there were so many people in the beach.. Everyone was into something.. Some rested in the beach restaurant with their books while some were enjoying sun bath .. There were local people too who were celebrating Holi on that day.. Its a festival of colors ,one of the most special ones in India.. Some were also relaxing as these two , enjoying the warm sea charm and the sea itself was a great companion...
I know about the problems with horizon which is very much tilted .. I am also getting many complains about it.. Yes, i tried to fix this is PS , but i didnt quite figure it out ... Please, workshops are welcome ...
I purposely kept in B/W mode and cropped the extra sky so make it a pano type and it may also suit my composition ...
Please write about my ideas this time!! Waiting generously for your critiques ..

Hi Sayan,
Good shot, but as you mentioned, the horizon is largely tilted. There's also a problem with noise I think.
The POV, however is magical. The framing of the people gazing to the sea, works well here.
Regards,
Sagarneel.
PS- Belated birthday wishes!!!

Not bad, my friend, not bad...

Bon fin de samaine,

Hello Sayan,
I wish you the best, my good friend.
Personal thoughts about the technical dramas always feels in me that there's no need to make perfect an image in technical aspects always... but go for the aesthetic expressions that can be shown through the frame..
I love that side always.. let there be light, grains, tilts.. and all.. but there has to be a concept too... that's important... and that's what we show to the world... and the world sees US through it.
ENJOY FILMING...
All my wishes.

Hi sayan,
I loved every single posting of yours. And Puri is a common nostalgic link.
As the horizon was bothering you, I tried to fix it. But then the original always helps to attain the max.
Pls have a look at the WS and let me know good, bad ugly whatever it is.

hello Sayan
Although some may not give horizon its importance, it is a good part of practice to keep the sea or lake shoreline level. When the technical aspect of a photo is not importantly considered in a shooting, it has a large discount effect. A flaw is not serious if you can fix it easily by pp work, especially horizon is very normal. The WS clearly shows how serious is this flaw and unable to be fixed.
I tried my best to do a workshop by correcting the tilt and cloning out the distractions at border. Hope that it helps.
That aside, the beach scene has good pov and B&W tone.

This could have been a great shot but for the wonky horizon. If you use "rotate canvas" choice on photoshop, you can correct it easily. I had a look at your gallery and saw many good photos, but I think you also have a noise problem in some of them (eg. I'll be there forever and dreamy creamy). You can download neat image from the internet and eliminate the noise easily.

Hi Sayan,
Your shots have improved dramatically, especially the way you present them. Good B/W shot, with nice quality and composition.
Well done,

A strange image, with the straight people and the tilted skyline. Makes it troubling, makes it unusual... And that's what I appreciate here. And the cool mood too. Interesting inspiration.
