Photographer’s Note

Its huge wavws there at Puri but the fishermen has no way, they have to go to the sea and catch the fishes there. The struggle comes from keep the boat from to shore to the deep water. I want to give you a feeling that the nature is so huge and we are really so weak w.r.t it.

Très jolie prise de vue... j'aime beaucoup l'équilibre entre cette vague et le reste de la mer bien calme ou quelques barques et pêcheurs sont clairsemés...
J'aime beaucoup.

Amazing photos in Puri series. every picture is masterpiece in itself. I missed to write critique on previous ones(certainly write sometime. This one is nicely taken, see the waves and silhoutte of fishermen... just perfect.

Une très belle composition qui transmet bien la fragilité de l'humain fasse aux forces de la nature. Les proportions vague/bateau donnent tout à fait cet effet. Je ne peux m'empêcher de penser aux dramatiques innondations qui ont dévasté certaines régions de l'Asie...

An excellent shot, Partha. A very well conceived photo, and a good exposure to catch the foam of the wave so well. The colour is warm and apart from the enormity of the crashing wave, the scene is one that evokes peace. Very good.

I enjoy your picture and particularly the contrast between the shore-break and the peacefull sea fare of the beach with the fishermen on board very tiny boats.

I have noticed that you have taken the waves in all yr shots beautifully..U have actually waited for this wave break and it has paid off big time..!!! I loved the way you have composed it with the silhouetted fisherman in the bg which is adding a nice depth to this shot..!!!

Estupendas todas estas fotos de esta serie, te las votaría todas, pero no tengo tantos :), poco a poco...
Magnífica toma con esas espectacular ola y las siluetas de los pescadores y barcos del fondo.
Un color excelente, pero el cielo tiene algo de ruido.

hello Partha,
there is great artistry in the both the taking and presentation of this image. I like it a lot.I especially like the tiny silhoutted fishermen, they loo like a craftsman's minatures carved in ebony.

Amazing contrast between the huge wave and the apparently so calm sea.
Also the brown colour in the wave is striking and combined beautifully with the light of the sunset.

Dommage pour le bruit car c 'est une bien belle image avec un point de vue original: au premier plan la vague créee une impression de violence alors que derriere au loin la serenité règne avec des barques de pêcheur en contre-jour; l'équilibre est parfait entre ces 2 aspects.
