Orissa, a part of India that I do not know but I will some day
Welcome to TE with this nice one
I like the low POV that you've taken, with the close up of the wet sand at the FG and the 3 characters with the net standing out on the cloudy sky
Just a little problem easy to address: straighten the horizon line

I love this photograph! But I think it could be a little better. I love the picture of daily life with this family tending their nets but, to me, it looks a little dark.
I've done a very quick workshop for you (and I hope you will not be offended). Firstly, I thought that the horizon wasn't quite straight and I've tried to correct that. Anyway, Sintu, have a little look at my workshop and see what you think - I hope I haven't ruined this picture for you!
P.S. Welcome to TrekEarth! I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have over the past four years - I have certainly learned a lot and made a few good friends too!

Hello Again Sintu - A very good POV which allows you to include the wet rippled sand in the shot. Lovely colour but maybe a tad dark, I've looked at John's WS and feel somewhere between the 2 would be good. I look forward to seeing more of your interesting work. Best regards Rosemary

A really excellent composition with the one person in the foreground and the two further back. I think John's WS is helpful as it brightens it a little.
Congratulations on seeing such a wonderful picture - you have a very good eye for a photograph. Welcome to TE. Regards, Ann

What an entry.
Great framing although i would have cropped some of the sky. The position of the subjects is fantastic.

This is a beautiful composition :)
Nice low perspective, reflections on water and positioning of the figures.
Though I agree with others about the tilted horizon and the figures are a tad dark but I too feel same with Rosemary as I would also prefer the picture to be in between the WS done by John and the original.
