This is a Dalit child, selling lotus flowers outside the Mahabody Temple in Buddhagaya. I uploaded it because I am going to India tomorrow. Sadly, many children have to earn their living selling in the streets.

A well composed picture of this rather sad little chap.I do feel for these little children, but at least this one looks as if he is warm with three layers of clothing, but open to all evils around.

Je l'aime bien, cette photo ! Une photo réalisée sur le vif et donnant tout le charme de cette composition.
Les yeux étonnés de l'enfant nous parlent.

Haven't seen you for a while (although I think I visited the same temple as in your last posting).
Well captured this serious face.

It's heart touching photo.
I saw lotus here in my country before, but never knew it can be so big. This kid and flowers looks like two diferent worlds one is full of joy light and freshness and another is hard and sad.
Great colors and presentation. The only thing which distracts me is too much blur on left side - would prefer some texture added there.

I remember these bottles! He looks so serious, surely because of his hard life but he holds the lotus so proudly.
Hope you have a great stay there, India is such a magical country!

this picture is superb, beautiful and sad at the same time, it grasps the viewer and establishes a strong contact with the little boy. His gesture says that he is most interested in selling flowers, but his eyes say so much more. There's a great contrast between the mood of life in the streets and the cheerful colours. A picture that can't be forgotten easily. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
