Hi John,
Finally looked through your photographs and have picked this as my favorite. It is a wonderful image that you have captured. Portrait photography is all about the focus on the eyes and you just cannot help but stare into this little girls. There is a look of desparation in them that sinks my heart. Your depth of field and composition are excellent and it is an image you should be very proud of.
