Photographer’s Note
I can remember getting my hair cut when I was young. Sometimes it could be traumatic. This is looking pretty short too. And the barber....well, he looks a little scary. But the kid is smiling, so I guess everything was going okay.
Seems that everywhere I went, particularly in Pokhara Nepal, they wanted to cut my hair. Apparently in India, you can get a shave and a haircut for something like 10 or 20 rupees. Wow!
So many of the shops in India are little cubicles like this one, and of course open to the street. In Calcutta they were actually out in the street! I have shown a broader view of this one in the workshop.

Hello Steve,
A fine view from life as it is in India, rendered in good natural colours.
Regards,

Very funny :) The men around look so into some kind of an operation. You are right this can be a traumatic experience :)
