Early morning Lotus Flowers Photo

Photographer’s Note

We rode past this pond every day on our way to the beach but it was only by making the trip one early morning that we noticed these beautiful Lotus flowers were open so had to stop and capture them.
As soon as the sun rises they shut up shop for the day.

the vivid colors have made this apparently simple scene quite striking. good contrast and sharpness too. only one thing... the picture is slightly overexposed.

Great saturated colours here of green, blue and pinks. I like that you chose the vertical format and the shot is well divided between the water and the land. I like the birds and cow giving a good idea of the rural life. Looking at your shots in your gallery from the andamans it looks like a beautiful place to spend some time.

Wow! This photo is simply wonderful!
Colors are perfect as like as the composition. Besides I love this exotic nature with Lotus flowers and palm trees!

Green is a bit oversaturated in my opinion,but I like the composition a lot,with the buffalo and the bright pink lotus blossoms in the foreground.

Beautiful morning scene full of light, vivid pink and green are really pleasant. A cow grazing in the field and two birds give calm atmosphere to this image. Fascinating shot.

I like the vertical composition, the layers from front to back just the colours seems to be unreal and oversaturated for my taste.
