Well, I'll be the first Englishman to comment. I like the inquisitve look of the lady in the doorway and the smiling child peering out behind. The dog looks very relaxed. Nice shot Elaine. Chris

Hi Elaine
Where are the englishmen? the lady seems not to be happy, but the boy is laughing and the dog sleeps!
Good framing.

Funny title choice. The lady seems angry or annoyed by the (invisible) English, the boy finds them amusing and the dog has its own thoughts. :))
An interesting ensemble!
A pleasant capture.

hello Elaine,
Your India gallery has superb picyures especially of daily life and you have finely blended colour onto most of them. Quite interesting shots.
This one too is , similarity of colour ,on wall and sari worn by the lady who appears a bit apprehensive. The dog's having a cool nap but its the boy who's really amused.A little less light on his face though. And all whiteskins are taken as Englishman?? in India.
Well done.

Hi Elaine!
Good composition! I like their faces looking at you - the woman so serious and the boy so amused. The dog sleeping outside, the blue colour of the walls matching with her dress, the Indian writings above the entrance.A good photo of India!
