Photographer’s Note
I visited Khajuraho. I have seen this bird, which was looking very beautifull. I tried 2-3 times to take photo, but failed, because at the time of click the bird fly away.
After some time I have seen the same bird sitting on one branch of the tree. I was ready to take picture and the bird was very cool at that point of time and the result is with you.

Great picture, I know how tough it is to capture a bird. The bird is rare and the composition is perfect with nice DOF. Colors looks great.

Hi Mahendra,
This is a fantastic capture. As Ajay also rightly told, bird photography is an extreme test of one's patience. And in this case, you passed with distinction!
To add to your note, this is an Indian Roller. Indian Roller is striking in its strong direct flight with the brilliant blues of the wings contrasting with the brown back.
Thanks

Hello Mahendra
I was looking a bit at your gallery and stopped on this image...I think I have already seen that bird in my garden but I don't know it's name. I like the different blue and brown/beige tones of its 'plumage', the blurred BG giving more impact to the bird. A pleasant luminosity as well!
Cheers
Marilyn
