Photographer’s Note
The early morning milk-train calling at Indore station.
A fitting post as I say goodbye for a few weeks. I was suppose to be in Sulawesi now, but unfortunately my father's health deterioated last Sunday two hours before I was to board my flight. After spending the last week in London and happily seeing some improvement we have decided to stay close at hand.
Tomorrow we leave to France --heading for sun, nature and some relaxation.

Thi is a winner! Very humourous but story telling, too. I like the women looking out the window. Good colours, light and sharpness. Good pattern of the milk jugs lined up horizontally. Well done!

Hi Elaine,
the crop makes this shot very interesting.
That, and also the framing.
The picture quality is very commendable too !
Well done.

Happy photo, as I am happy your father´s health has improved. Not sure about the tilt inside the frame Elaine, but the message is so funny and so India that I love it a lot. Take care.

There are 2 things that I really like about this -The first is the great quality of the light, which shows that row fo milk bottles very well. The other thing that I like is the view of the women through the windows of the train. Great shot of daily life!

A good "daily life" photo from India. It shows another side of the life of some people as it happens in every country.Broad frame, colors, and good eye as well

Hi Elaine,
I haven't seen a real milk train before. Quite interesting way of transport. Good visual effect too, the colours of rust are strong and smiles out of windows attractive.

Hello Elaine,
A most interesting daily life shot that I've never seen when I was in India. I love your colours here a lot, the rusty colour of the train probably suits the state it's in. The smile of that one lady finishes off your work beautifully here.
Sorry to read about your father and I hope that everything stays well. If ever you are in the south of France, don't hesitate to let me know. We could sip a drink together on a sun bathing terrace in the shade of a tree.
Take care, Sabine

Hi Elaine,
your image is eye catching and after opened it's not just the colours, the line of milk containers and the good light that comes out but also the smiling lady and the atmosphere of India... it's something you feel deep in your soul after you experienced once or twice or three times...
A sweet smile
Luca
PS: this time I didn't return anyway... I've chosen the desert (Mauritania next Dec.)
I just wanted to let you know as you felt my feeling when I posted Puri fishermen images...
I hope your father is getting better now...
