Photographer’s Note
Of course it's a joke, it's somewhere inlands, and this poor fella is for sure a decent man, but he looks like a pirate, doesn't he?

hi antoni a very expressive portrait u have here..good colours and the expressions of the man makes him indeed look like a pirate of the desert :)) i guess u should send his pics to bollywood and for sure he will land himself a role :)) the defect in the right eye the tapering moustache and magnified look of the face just completes the pic...thanks for sharing rgds baptist

Hi Antoni,
Very nice portrait. The man has some comical features at first look, but when you see it in more detail he looks a bit sad.

Good portrait Sengir. He certainly has a marked personality, but the great contrast of colours also helps to make this photograph stand out. That green tone on the background is a must.

Very good portrait, seems to be almost a 3D. The area around the right eye of this man is a picture by itself. He's really watching me!!! Congratulations.

Hi Antoni,
Fantastic portrait...He does look like a villain from a Hindi movie with his twisted moustache and his one eye... Looks more like an old time dacoit i would say..:)
Nice shot.

Excellent, I love the colours and his interesting face. Great moustache (essential for a pirate). I especially like the blurred sacks in the background, it gives him some con nection with his environment. I guess thats where he keeps all his treasure.

Hi Antoni!
i am wondering whether this man is blind from his left eye. Anyhow, this is a great colorful portrait. I like how the green color of the BG is echooing his turban. great stuff!

Hello, Antoni
a powerful portrait, and mostly because you framed it with much expertise and did not lose any detail, which was so important in "sculpting" his features for the best expressiveness. Bravo, a great subject and a great photography!

yes, he does, and this is a classic portrait. They're easier to find in India than anywhere else, mostly because people almost always let you take their pic. A really lovely portrait: tack sharp, well saturated, etc., Antoni.
