This is another shot from my weekend spent in Georgia in December 2006. We were staying the night in Gudauri, a ski resort, surrounded by peaks like this. I got up early one morning to watch the sunrise and this was one of my rewards for staying out in the freezing morning temperatures.
At first I wasn't sure what kind of sunrise I would get because of the clouds, but in the end was extremely pleased. Aside from some very minor contrast adjustments, these colours are completely natural.

Someone said, you will not appreciate the magical beauty of sunrise if you haven't waited in darkness. Congrats and i envy you for this, i like it a lot.

Hi Cora, You were certainly well rewarded for your early rise. Those colours are magnificent. Doesn't look like a lot of snow on the hills though, hopefully enough for skiing. I tried the first link but it didn't work, you may want to have a look at it. cheers, Steve
hello Cora.
I am from Turkey. I like Georgia. you know my country i mate with Georgia. That's why I wonder Georgia.
Your photo is very attractive and spectacular. black tons and red tons are very adaptable. mountains' rough grounds seem beautiful. I wanted to see the birds on the sky. thus photo can gain move thanks to birds.
