[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Town of Kazbegi, northern Georgia, sits on georgian millitary road, important corridor through the Caucasus mountains, connecting northern and southern Caucasus areas (CisCaucasus and TransCaucasus).
Tsminda Sameba church, on 2200m a.s.l. overlooks the town and the mountains. Hardly there's a summit here below 4000 meters.
Just behind the summits are Chechenya and Ingushetya.

Place has a magic. You can't really understand the feeling of being there unless you go for yourself.

Zdravo Marko,

Odlicne boje i oblaci.
Da li si se popeo na tu planinu?
pozdrav

Hi Marko - I also loved this place, and getting there is half the fun, there was still a lot of snow on the trail, so I took a shortcut and got lost in the trees, then fell and twisted my arm, it still hurts today, but worth it for the view, I like the rich green tones of late summer here (it was still brown last month), and the cloud and shadowplay on the landscape, though it would have been better if sunlight was falling on the church.
