Brilliant mood. Very clever point of view with the detailed grass in the foreground and the great panorama suggested behind. I love the grain, the elegant presentation, the little people lying in the grass.
It looks like we are open a Fairy tale book :)
Very good Greg !

beautiful picture Greg, such a dreamy mood. very nice compo, unbeliveable amount of grain ;) I guess in color it is a quite oridinary shot, but your PP makes it special. very nice work

I agree with what has been said already, this one simply rocks, I don't have anything to nit pick here, personally I love the grains and you have applied them here very well, the image has great contrast and is very well composed all around, the border while big it's not overpowering.

Very, very beautiful! I like the black & white treatment, complete with the slightly grainy look. The composition is very strong, with the sloping field of flowers, the castle on the hill, and then the town in the valley below. This is a truly masterful work. Adding this to my favourites.

Hi Greg,
It looks like a photo in an old scrapbook. The graininess really gives it a special mood. Great perspective cut by the diagonal line of the grassy hill.
Really beautiful,
Regards
Daniel

Good point of view, Greg
The camera position and the compositing in congestion with the hill angel is very interesting
The mist in the background the church and even a little person enjoying the view
Well done

Hi Greg,
Wonderful picture and an excellent composition with the city in the background and the field in front. The B&W works also very well. Good work!

I love this photo. What a great composition and the light makes it look magical like a fairy tale.

Awesome photo, Greg! Black and white rendition was very appropriate, and inclusion of the lonely figure taking in the vista was just right.

Icredible fantasy wiew it just seems out from a fairy tale!...extraordinary poetry given by this misty noise and this POV...love also the unusual framing
Best regrds, Valerio.
Hi Greg! We (me and yuricle) just return from Georgia, and I found that you've been there not long ago and made wonderful photos, it's cool :)
But why Black & White? I think Georgia is very "color" country.

Hi Greg!
It's a beautiful shot! It's like a fairy-tale image.
Beautifully framed. The far fog at the foot of the hills adds a lot of atmosphere.
You did a great work of post processing!

A very unusual POV. Never saw Tbilisi from this point, although I lived there for 2 years... Also the composition is quite unusual; the photo is very cleverly split diagonally between the poppie field in the foreground and the city panorama, with Narikala fortress (darker then the rest of image) being the dividing line. I don't agree with maciekda, it wouldn't be an ordinary shot also in colour, but your processing makes this just fantastic!

thats good, very dream like. The black&white works great, and the noise helps add to the mystique. My only complaint would be the top-right corner, it needs to be cropped by about 20px; the remnants of that lingering cloud is too distracting. Also, I like the big frame but it feels a little too big at the top; maybe raising the image about 10px would feel better.
otherwise, I'd say it's damn near perfect.

p.s. you shoot some great photos with the G3, love to see what might be able to do with an EOS 5D.......
