Photographer's Note

Nekresi is a historic town in Kakheti, established around 2-1 centuries BC. In 4th century AD, a church was built in this place, which became a refuge to one of the Assyrian fathers, Abibus (in the late 6th century.
The church (complex of a few small churches)is beautifully located on a high hill. At the entrance down, you have to leave your own car and will be taken by a special mini bus up to the church.
Wonderful views for Alazani valley!
It was about to rain when I got there.
