Street lamps in Batumi save energy :)

Batumi turned out to be quite attractive place! I wasn't feeling too good to find out I HAVE to leave Batumi and Georgia just hours after I arrived this Black Sea coastal resort city (visa issues, etc..)
So took only a few photos from the downtown area, and this one was funny. Although it was a daylight time, it was unusually cloudy for August, so street lamps automaticaly turned on, but this one only with 50% capacity. I am definitely sure that bulb in other one needs to be replaced, but it is interesting to imagine if this was saving energy, as on a gloomy daylight time, you only needed one bulb turned on, instead of both :)
I'm uploading this pic in black/white (actually, some personalized sepia), as the building itself is green/light-blue/whatever.. So it doesn't look too stupid when colors are desaturated :)

An extremely classic place! Good capture.
Hey
It's great you've choosen to take your picture just in black and white! I really like the contrast between the north european atmosphere of the building and the palm tree in front of it.
