So the Mestia cows are not exactly a precision squad, but their march down the main street of Mestia still made a solemn impression. I'm sure my Svan hosts found my constant photographing of farm animals rather quaint, but I'm glad I took this picture!

It is a great picture...those cows calmly marching down the empty street...the colors are toned down except the red on the roof. I was thinking that it would be beneficial to this picture cutting its upper part a litle to remowe the red color and soften the imaage. It would also bring all attention to the cows marching...

I like the line up that give both perspectivew and repetition of shapes. Good DOF on the cows. In the upper part the red roof is a distraction. I like to crop the upper part under the window just like Danuta did.

I like this kind of rural scenes - they give a feeling of eternity, I mean these everyday events have been happening since hundreds or thousands of years. Reminiscences of the past for the urban people. Very fascinating!
