| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Daniel has already explained about Svaneti towers (see "Mestia in the Caucasus") but I thought I would share my photo with a different view of the towers. My brief stay in Svaneti was unforgettable - a true example of Georgian hospitality. Perhaps the hospitality in the mountainous regions like Svaneti is even more legendary because that is where it has its roots... offering food, shelter, and protection to strangers travelling through difficult and dangerous terrain. |

nice countryside but that image seems to be not sharp enough
HI Becky,
Very nice composition, I like the contrast between the green, towers and thethe glaciers, however it is lacking some sharpness. I will try a workshop later on.
Cheers
Daniel

Wow, Becky! This is the place I wanted to see. After having some troubles elsewhere, we reluctantly decided against going to Svaneti (the UK FCO advises not to go there at all). I'm envious! Did you have a guide?
great shot! well composed (although i would like to see all of the mountains in the background, also, for a size perspective)...the picture seems slightly hazy...
Dear Rebecca,
I love this thrilling mountain view (in the background)and the famous towers. I have not visited Svaneti yet but I will return to Georgia for sure :)
warm greetings
