Lake Ritsa lokated in the north part of Abkhazia.Its water is cold and clear.Mountains with heights of 2200 to 3500 m.surround the lake.Many specimens of the Nordmann Fir,which reach heights of over 70 meters,are found around Lake Ritsa.Six rivers flow into lake and one flows out(Lupshara River)

Merhaba Setenay,
Can You believe it, I was here before 15 years (just before the war in Abkhazia). And I can remember this lake as a beautiful place sorrounded by high peaks with the snow, and the mountain river Bzyb' on the road to this lake. That time I was in Sukhumi, Gagra, Picunda - lovely places.
Thanks for this picture, I was curious how it look now...
