Promenade at Suchumi, Black Sea, today Georgia

1981: We were on vacation in Soci, about 60km west from Suchumi. Between Sochi and Suchumi a hydrofoil was operating and we started a self-organized trip. It was a a great adventure and really great experience because we couldn't understand the language, we only knew some the cyrillic sign. I well remember how friendly the country was, how many friendly people are helping us paying ths boat, the bus, explain us were we could see interesting things.

Scanned from a pocket negative, only little improvement possible.

Nice picture and very good scene. THe architecture seen in the distance is old and attractive.
Nice colours and light, though the sky seem overcast. Your perspective here is very good.
