Photographer’s Note
Not far from Kazbegi, in Georgia, is this peaceful photo taken. When I hear today that there is war not far from this place, I feel so sad. In the high mountains in Georgia (Elbrus, which is higher than Mont Blanc, lies here, but on the Russian side of the border) they build many hotels, for skiing resorts. But the problem is the bad roads and the insecure situations.
Georgia is such a beautiful country, with such vivid people, who only want to live in peace.

You're so right! this used to be a peaceful place and the people of Georgia never wanted a war ...the politicians are the ones to blame..and the aggressive ready-for-war Russians....they can easily cause a Genocide to the Georgian culture! Someone has to stop this madness!
Great picture it is by the way ...but it is not real any more :(
PEACE ! Let's respect the Ancient Olympics principals!
cheers!
