Photos

This is another shot from my recent quick trip to Georgia. We were staying in Gudauri, a ski resort, surrounded by peaks like this. I got up early one morning to watch the sunrise (opposite this peak)and when I turned around I noticed this one had a beautiful pink colour from the sun across the valley.

It only lasted for a few minutes before the colours turned to show bright white slopes against a gorgeous blue sky (see my other photo of the same peak here)

I could have sat there all day looking at these mountains - so majestic and inspiring.

Tech notes: zoomed as much as possible to really accentuate the peak but did not have a tripod and was low light conditions so not very sharp. Prefer my other shot (see previous link) to this one now that I've posted it, but maybe next time...
