on the way to Tsminda Sameda church above Kazbegi.

actually, this is half way up to the church, if you climb from Ghergeti (Kazbegi) and then turn left in the village when you see this tower, up a little stream. That metal pipe on the photo, which I couldn't avoid from this stand point, is actually one which takes water to the village directly from the stream. Yeah, stream goes just under the tower, and I drank some water from it and all I can say - great feeling! Complete area here is just perfect, like you're in some kind of heaven, there's mountain stream with cold chrystal clear water, forming small waterfalls everywhere, green green carpet-like grass, beautiful and clean environment, and almost no people =]
So those mountains there are actually Caucasus summits, and behind them should be Ingushetia, Chechnya.. I just can't imagine how beautiful those poor torn countries are :(
