Photographer’s Note

Ananuri is a Castle on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles from Tbilisi.
The fortifications enclose, amongst other buildings, two churches. In the older Church of the Virgin are buried some of the Eristavis (dukes) of Aragvi.
The Church of the Assumption, built in 1689, has richly decorated facades, including a carved north entrance. It also contains the remains of a number of frescoes.

Hi Grzegorz,
A very nice photograph of the Ananuri Castle indeed. The grey filter gives a nice effect to your image but at the same time it looks a little too dark to me. In a workshop I used Photoshops Shadow/Highlight command in order to distribute the luminosity a little more uniformly. Please tell me what you think about…thanks in advance.

Fajne ¶wiat³o mia³e¶, fajnie nasycone kolory. Ja mia³em pecha, bo akurat tego dnia wysiad³ mi aparat i nie mog³em pocykaæ tej twierdzy.

great capture of such a glorious place as Ananuri is.
i would like to see more photos from Ananuri, if you have some with less darken parts with emerald green waters in the back?

Witaj,
Fajne miejsce - nie widać turystów. Nie wiem, czemu, skoro to tak niedaleko od dużego miasta. Dobre zdjęcie - takie czyste i czytelne. Z leśnymi wzgórzami w tle. Zupełnie jak w Polsce.
