As I already said the way to Tusheti and landscapes around are just breath taking. This shot was taken after the pass. My way to Tusheti was quite difficult as the car I rented got broken on the same day we left for our trip at the gas station in Tbilisi. The next day with the same but now repaired car (as the agency claimed) we managed to leave Tbilisi, went through Kakheti and when we had just entered the mountains the car stopped suddenly and for good (about 10 km after the last village Pshaveli). We started to think that this is a bad omen and maybe we should not strive to go there any more. In addition no mobile phone coverage. Luckily, after some time a guy in a good jeep was going down from Tusheti and took us to Alvani village where he left some locals. After contacting the agency we agreed to leave the broken car on the road. Then we tried again (for the third time) to set out for Tusheti with this guy who was coming back there and charged us 250 lari (around 120 EUR). As he was a good driver we used his services on the way back. After this bad beginning we spent 5 beautiful days in Tusheti. It was worth not giving up.

Very interesting subject and narrative. The pov of your capture really fits the title well. We have roads like this in Montana but the forest doesn't let you see them until your above the timber line. Very well composed and rendered.

wow, you had alot of bad luck with your rental car!
what type of car was it? was it really old too?
In your photo, i like seeing the brightness of the road against the green landscape.
lots of depth and winding shapes, very cool.

Indeed, the curving road looks like it is dancing on the mountain slopes.
It's also striking how this 'snake' glitters in the landscape.
A fabulous mointain scenery with great depth.
I wish you much more luck on your next trip.
Best regards, Paul

Gruzja przesliczny malutki kraj usytuowany pomiedzy gorami Kaukazu i morzem Czarnym. Slicznie pokazalas krajobraz gorski z droga jak "tanczacy waz". Swietna jakosc zdjecia a takze kolory, swiatlo oraz ostrosc.
