Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken in the mountains of Tusheti.
A region in the North East of Georgia, close to the border of Chechnya and Dagestan. It is all part of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range.
The highest mountain in Georgia is Mt. Shkhara at 5201 meters. I think the sheep in the picture are walking at a altitude of 2300 meters. Notice the small terraces which are formed in a long period of time.

Hallo Jan!
A truly eyecatching photo - even as a thumbnail. These diagonal "lines of sheep" simply are great here. In combination with your note a contribution in the true sense of TE. I think I even can see the shepherd ...
Greetings from wet and cold Germany!

Hello Jan,
A clever observation and an unusual picture. As so often happens, fewer ingredients and fewer colours make better compositions. This is quite simple and very attractive. Maybe the sharpness could have been a little better.
Best regards,
Gert

bonjour Jan
yes perhaps a lack of sharpness, but all this sheep in curved lines, except some rebells, draw a very attractive picture.
thanks for your note too.
