Photographer’s Note
it was the first time we went to wu zhen(direct translation: black town), it is a small town in south of china, and where produces wooden funiture and accessories.
of course this one is not wooden, the old holds his own workshop, and sell his banboo products in the same time.
his grandson was playing around when the old is working. the boy was too shy, he hided himself behind the closet when i took this pic.

Dear Roy, very good documentational shot. I like how you brought the action to us with his blurred hand. You also give us his working space buy not taking a closeup portrait which is again good. Only thing I think could have been better is the light baskets in front. You have such a nice contrast of his head with the white hair, but somehow that effect gets destroyed by those baskets which take away attention. Yours, Jan
