Photographer’s Note
Hong Kong has been enjoying 'some' blue skies lately, as a result of Beijing trying to reduce pollution during the Olympics.
I took this shot from the pedestrian bridge leading from Victoria Park to the Causeway Bay typhoon shelter.
The skyline in the background is of Kowloon. Since the airport moved in 1997, this 'new' Hong Kong skyline has been getting taller and taller.
Tech: This is my first shot posted using the new 300 kB file size. Just resized, sharpened and added small frame.

Hello Andrew,
I like this beautiful view! I guess HK has changed a lot since I was there in '98. I like the skyline which looks so familiar and kind of nostalgic, against the very nice "unpolluted" sky with beautifully shaped clouds in the background.
Good colours which create very fresh atmosphere..
best regards,
Elena

Hi Andrew, I hope that all is well. Nice bright view and a good layering with the foreground boats, the skyline, and the fluffy layer of clouds for a topping. Quite good quality and good rendering of the light with this mobile phone cam shot. Greetings from Canada.

Hello Andrew,
Long time ago best friend that I you found on TE.
You chose a excellent panorama view about the Hong Kong harbour.
Nice perspective through the opening between the yachts.
Air polution one of the most big problemon on our earth, this be a very great problems for my grandchildren.
Composition and presentation are very well.
I hope that you as teacher can understand what I write in English.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.
