P.S Me and my girlfriend as well as my parents were up there. We do agree that the HK night scene is just fantastic.

It IS fantastic.
So much to look at – shapes, colors, details.
The lights make also the sky beautiful – so, it´s good that you didn´t frame the image too tight...

Nice night exposure, the sky looks dramatic, entire scene reminds me of the Gotham City. Nice job. Regards, Djenno

I agree with djenno, the whole scene has a Gotham City feel to it. Very dramatic with the clouds.

Great shot Siu, I've always wanted to go to Hong Kong, but never knew the night scene was this amazing! Great capture with the clouds and the contrast on the buildings is great. Is that because of the long shutter speed?

waaaah... colorfull, lightfull, tall buildings, and the long time pause gives this special effect to the sky... you could just crop a part of the sky.

if it is just n.5 I am looking forward to discovering soon the rest of your night- scenes top 5 ! ps: the square in Florence is called the Piazza degli uffizi. :-)

I like this too - perhaps I would have liked to see it taken with a little more at the base of the picture but I'm sure you framed it as you did for the right reason - I just think an already excleent photograph might have been better with the base of the buildings in frame.

Really nice nigh picture. I like these incandescent lights. Many colors. Where did you take this picture ?
Jeppe (18654) 2005-03-13 17:37
Yes - surely a sight worth traveling for - Amazing to watch so many different colours -and the light in the sky as well - Thanks Siu for sharing the memories and sight.
Was you on a mountain top here.

It's a beautiful shot, with all these fluorescents colors, the buildings seem so big ! a nice night view of your city.

Cheer for your shoot.
Technically, it is perfect!
Superb returned for this city which take all its photographic value the night...
The colors are fantastic and the sky not too black, which is very significant.
