Mesmerizing HK skiline Photo

Photographer’s Note

After leaving Canada we got a plane to Singapore our new home. On the way we passed trough Tahiti for 2 days trip and after a few days in Singapore we went to HK.
On my first day in the city I just wanted to enjoy the hotel and its spetacular view to the Kowloon bay. I was amazed by the quantity of boats that pass by there day and night.

Sorry about the quality, not as sharp as I would like to, but the picture was taken handheld trought my glass window, so it was the best I could get.

A pesar de las dificultades de la luz te ha salido un cuadro bonito de la ciudad y el puerto de Hong Kong en un formato horizontal que le va muy bien a esta composición, felicidades por la foto.

belas as cores sóbrias e as luzes pontilhando a paisagem, bem como os barcos cruzando a baía. Belo pov e compo, a chuva ao fundo parece dar um ar de desconsolo ao todo

Flavia,
the quality and sharpness looks OK to me. At least at the size here a TE. It certainly is quite different looking at the big presentation of the original shot, although I question if you did some additional and necessary sharpening of it prior to posting. Did you? The image with its composition, light and colors gives a hint of that mesmerizing view that you had out of the window. I especially like the red sails of the boat to the right.
I'm so excited to see finally your asian shots. I almost can't wait to see it all ...

HK is a one of my favourite cities in the world.
And your photo is just great.

This is a great picture! The skyline looks really good. I know what you mean about the quality here, but I think it still looks ok! The colours here are very good as well.
