Photographer’s Note
Nested along the Yangtze River are small hidden spots like this ... available only by boat and/or path along the cliffs of the beautiful Three Gorges area. As waters rise ... when the final stage of the river's dam is complete, this image will be gone. Take note of a time that once was and a view forever to be lost.

Fascinating image of old China. A very well thought composition.
I like the soft tones and warm colours.
It's a pity all that will be swept away...
Really an interesting and important document.
Thanks for sharing,

bel ensemble; une impression de brume ou une légère surexposition?
quel dommage en effet que ce barrage si controversé fasse disparaitre un si paisible lieu

Hi David,
very beautiful photo, but as you say yourself, a bit misty, everthing hidden behind a shade of grey. Nothing easier than that, a bit of PP-witchcraft in the Workshop, and everything as as clear as it possibly can get - hope you like it!
Have a nice day, Johannes
