Down on Jinshang River (to become Yangtze 200km lower), a herder faces the camera for the first time. Close to Lijiang city.

Note after posting: I was told the guy is rather a Lisu or Naxi minority, not Tibetan.

Really nice juxtaposition between the rafters and the man. I have to say that I'd love to see the photographer's picture. I think your picture might be improved by saturating the color a bit more and possibly sharpening the image. Really great timing and POV.

The expression on his face is great! An interesting and amusing shot. I like the way it seems you have spot metered (even though you haven't) on the person as it makes them well contrasted to their bright surroundings. Having been to Lijiang, I believe they are mostly Naxi in this area, though I suppose that's just guessing!
