Hi Zhongyi, I have not heard of this Stone Forest, so this post has taught me something, and I thank you for that. I found a web site for it that you might find interesting: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/yunnan/kunming/stone_forest.htm . With respect to the photo, your composition is very good using a part of the stone forest as a backdrop and placing the water and people up front. The people serve as a very good scale for the shot. It's too bad the sky was grey that day, but otherwise you have great colour and very good detail throughout the shot.

Hi Zhongyi,

First time I saw the Stone Forest was in a Japanese movie, set in Yunnan. The mountains sure looked amazing; I don't know what the place was, but I think it may have been the Stone Forest.

The photo is very nice, apart from the sky. The people and the lake are a nice touch. They add some color and interest, though the mountains are already interesting in themselves. It also shows us the relative size of the rocks.
