| This photo was taken during a drive from Chengdu to the city's surrounding mountains. The location was just a stop in the road where you could rent a bamboo boat and/or buy a cool drink on a hot summer day. This region is a popular tourist destination and weekend getaway for the Chinese. I didn't see any western tourists this day. The boy in the photo was curious about the visiting photographer and I was just lucky enough to catch him looking over his shoulder to see what I was doing. |
