[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
View from Lingyan hill over Min river towards Leshan town. This as shot in the evening about an hour before sunset when suddenly few weak rays of setting sun came through a cloudy mist that had preveiled the whole day. Lingyan hill is - of course - the place where the Great Buddha Dafo has been sitting 1205 years already.

Pekka,
What an interesting view, nicely composed and framed; ancient and modern theme.
Very nice.

Colin

Great photo. I like the combination of traditional cliff side structures with the modern metropolis in the background.

Interesting view. I especially like the contrast between the old dweliings on the cliff and the modern (and presumably very polluted) modern metropolis in the background.

Hello, Pekka!
Well-done "peeking" through the leaves! The colour of the hills compensates the dull sky perfectly. Thanks for sharing!

great shot,
nice, natural frame
I would go back there when the sky is clear

Pekka-

An great exercise in old vs. new. I'm not sure if you could or not, but I would have liked to see this from a slightly lower angle of view. The tree leaves are slightly bothersome being that close to the sky scrapers in the background.

The light isn't great, but from the looks of the weather, it the best you can do under the circumstance.

It looks like you are standing on the edge of a cliff here.

Nice note to go with the photo. Perfect for TE!

Thanks.

~Vic~

This is a good POV here from behind the budhha i guess. Nicely framed by the tree and the two scens are set apart by their colourtones.
