Yangshuo Fan Girl Photo

Photographer’s Note

After the trip on the Li River, tourists are taken to Yangshuo, where there are a lot of shops selling souvenirs, and this is the place where the Chinese hope to get the most out of the pockets of tourists.
Nevertheless if someone is able to get rid of foreigners in a picture ( And that is a challenge ) there are some photographic possibilities.
Actually our cruise on the river Li was very disappointing because of the crowds of tourists, the many boats carrying them. Forget about reflections and
fishermen at sunset, when travelling in groups. Actually Yangshuo (Instead of Guilin ) should be the starting place if you intend to stay 3 days at least.

what a beautiful picture.
I bought twelve or fifteen of those fans in Yangshuo, really a lovely place.
Each friend of ours got a fan!!

I can see why you were attracted to this stand with all the color and graphism. Tight composition works very well, could perhaps crop the concrete at the bottom. I have to remember this image and your note because there is a chance I will visit China in May. Best wishes,

I like your approach to this beauty, Izzet.
For a short moment I haven’t notice the lady in there - between this splendorous array of the oriental fans...
Oh, no... It has nothing to do with the lack of your photographic skills…
As a matter of fact – it’s quite opposite - I may say...
You see – the lady is a part of her exhibits to such extent that it looks like she is one of the motives - herself !!!!
