Photographer’s Note
The visit to Yuelong Snow Mountain (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain) in the year of 2002 was the first time I saw a mountain covered by snow, although it's moderate in size and height, about 4680m above sea level, with a convenient plank road paved on the mountainside meadow, the experience there is hard (the plank road is very long to cover) but wonderful.

This is a very interesting structure and a good PoV and composition, Draco. However, it is very underexposed in the foreground, whiting out all the detail of the planks. Also, I find the tall thin frame less satisfactory that the usual format. The cloud at the top left also provides, I think, a distraction to the powerful line of the composition. I have tried a workshop, to show what I mean. Hope, you don't mind Regards kevin

Hi Draco,
good shot with an excellent perspective. Your note is very interesting for me. I´ve never seen such a wooden road, here in the Alps we walk simply on the soil when climbing a mountain. Has it a protected flora or what is the reason for this ?
Cheers from Austria, Christian
