| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| One of the young monks in the monastery in Litang. This one was very outgoing, took us around, and was not camera shy. The walls in this place were all very bright with color. Made for some interesting backgrounds |

Hi Kevin
I really like the warm reds and yellows here. The analogous colours give the shot harmony and creates a soothing mood.
The pose is interesting too, the turned head and the bent arm are natural and effective, and help give the shot order and balance.
Judging from the horizontal lay of the bricks in the wall behind the subject, it would appear that the camera is slightly tilted here, which actually helps the composition here giving the scene an even more tranquil and relaxed
look.
The only problem I can see with this photograph is the skin tones, they look a little too red to my eye and I think this is possibly because you have a colour cast off the boys bright red robes.
I done my best to correct the problem with my workshop and you can be the judge as to whether I have succeeded or not.
TS
a very wonderful pic, against a bright background. truly a candid shot.
