It is a park where it is agéable to walk. There is there a beautiful sight of the Mount of the Jade Dragon, which, moreover, is reflected in the pond. The willows soak their branches in the water of the pond at the sides of the solids chestnuts, and the multiple ponds abound in multicoloured fish. It is a beautiful Chinese garden where pagodas, such the "House Embrasser the Moon" (Deyuelou) or the "Hall in the Five Phoenix" (Wufeng lou), alternate with the white marble bridges.

The park is also culturally interesting: are there a library as well as a building (the "Hall in the Five Phoenix") coming from an old lamasery of the surroundings of Lijiang, Institute of Research of the Dongba Tradition, as well as a Museum of Dongbas.
