Photographer’s Note

In the last big Red Country of the world, there's a Red hour and not a Blue one.
An image of the main square of the Tang Paradise, a well built tourist trap.
We were there for a 3 days of business, full of meeting, report and all day and night organized tour, restaurants, museums and ...traps, as this one.
We visited the main spots of the beautiful Xi'an, everyday under a dark grey/yellow sky, with the air full of fog, crazy jam traffic and the sound of the Chinese cities 24 hours per day, the sound of the workers around new towers, skyscrapers, hotels...sound of a rebirthing of a big Nation.

I don't know how you avoided the yellow gray sky by shooting this red scene at 12.46pm and make it look like a blue hour shot!! Great reflections anyway and fine framing and POV...
It also looks like it is not a pond or pool, but simply rain water just there..
A good, intriguing picture!

You have the 3 primary colours in this one Paolo. It seems like the twilight turns the grey sky blue. The reflections are stunning. It's good you could find some free time in your business schedule.

All the elements are here for a nice photo:
Nice architecture, nice colors, reflections, exoticism, figures, perspective, light...
But RED is what grasps me here. Red and reflection of red.
First i would say: "Why did you cut the reflection of the first element?" Then i saw that there is no reflection there at all. So, no problems at all :)

bella foto, quello che ricerco nella fotografia, almeno di questo genere, è la descrizione dei luoghi e delle culture attraverso le immagini, e in questo trekearth è fenomenale, in alcune foto si riesce a cogliere il profumo dell'aria, la temperatura, il silenzio (o il frastuono). della cina si è detto molto, forse troppo, ma ancora qualcuno che provi a descrivere questo momento importantissimo del cambiamento non l'ho ancora trovato.
