LongSheng Rice Terrace Photo

Photographer’s Note

LongSheng, 2 hours by bus from Guilin. Incredible landscapes of rice terraces over the mountains.
You can climb those mountains and meet people from different ethnic minorities, and also ... some groups of tourists (lots of "laowai") as this place starts to become more and more touristic.
Anyway it's an amazing place to visit, it really worth the shot.

.. Even the trees can't grow to sky .. ( chinese proverb ? )

great picture Pingu, just saw your other new pics on your interactive site, very impressive, you have a great eye for pictures, I hope to go back to China to take pictures, great rice terraces here, the angle the dof is really good, it is a shame we cant see the whole view, but well done, keep up the good work

Nice capture -- sharp and well framed. The composition is good but I can't help but wonder if different lighting conditions would have transformed this from a good shot to a great shot.
We can't always help the time we're there though, so very well done!
