Same as the day I took See Hong Kong.
I panned the camera a bit on the left across the harbour is the West-Kowloon side which soon be developed. Just converted from an origianl colour to B&W to see how less 'unreal' Hong Kong would be literally. It's shows more graphic shapes, tones of shades and shadows, the modeling of architectural form...hmmm a different dimension version of Hong Kong as seen in B&W...what do you think? :/
Have A Great Weekend!!!

Hi Jom
I really like the contrasts and details of the buildings which come out of this B&w version. There's so much detail and depth too.

Hi Jom!
Great view you have here! The pov is great, we can see so much of the city. I like this B&W option!
A nice three shot showing of HK Jom. Great colors in the two WS's and nice tones in the main B&W one. I like the two workshops better (being more of a color guy) but the B&W looks good too. Very original, as almost all shots taken from the peak are color. I also like how you put the times on the pics, really putting a time on the shots and showing the results of the quickly changing light of the sunset.
Nice work.
John
Hi Jom,
Very good B&W from Hong Kong..nice and contrasty! Very sharp too, mainly in the front where the details are bigger. The 30D and you did well. I like your crop/framing and the POV for certain!!
Hello Jom

Hi Jom!
I love the radical urbanism of cities like this. I wish we had some of them in Europe too. Unfortunately we donīt have even one. Very good panoramic shot of your city. B+W works well here, but I like the WS version also.
