Known as the "Pacific Summit" or "Flag-raising mountain" in Cantonese, the Victoria Peak is the place to go when visiting Hong Kong.
I was tempted to go for the classic view of Central district skyscrapers (with Victoria habour and the Kowloon peninsular in BG) when I noticed them going for a very nice self-portraiture...
This was taken from the 'Peak plaza' place. And if you would like to checkout the buildings in the back, Jom Cris has done a wonderful collage ...

Great composition. The clairity is fantastic. The couple seems very eager to have their portrait taken by you. TFS

A very romantic and impressive view of Hong-Kong. Interesting composition with couple taking itself in photo with the background of the city.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Nice panoramic point of view, with this cute couple included. They are obviously rather concerned to get their own photo done, thus they didn't notice you which adds to spontaneity of your shot.
The light is also interesting, as combination of some darker and some brighter areas.

Hi Dear Cheuk,
Now you are climbing almost up to full speed !
This one from Hong Kong is great as well. Compared to other simple skylines of Hong Kong, this is quite different with this nice young couple.

Excellent idea and very well captured. The idea is so good that i keep this in mind for further use...thanks.
Light is of course playing a role and you captured it wonderful with strokes of sunlight on the city below...beautiful.

Nice photo, I wonder how did you manage to get the couple with no one else around, when I went there there was hardly place to watch the skyline.
It shows a nice contrast between the blueish/yellowish tones in the background (the sky, the river, the buildings) and the couple. Also interesting image of the couple, it is something normal here in China for touristic spots.

Hi Cheuk Hin Tsan
What a great shot, well done. There is absolutely nothing that I would want to change in it. The composition, exposure and colour are all perfect. This is a photograph with amazing depth
I also note that you used a 18mm lens set at f8 for this shot and that is why it works so well. Because of your lens choice you have been able to place you subjects nicely in the foreground and then visually lead the viewers eye into your maximised background.

I like this a lot Cheuk Hin. You have good light over the city but the interest in the foreground is what this is all about. I love how she is standing on tiptoes to be tall enough to fit into the little screen. Good work.

This reminds me of your other shot from Cappadoccia - photographing photographers can often work well. I like the twist in this one that the photographer is also the subject, both of his photograph and of yours.
Much more interesting than the classic view over the city would have been.
Good work Cheuk.

Yes,you were right, this shot is more interesting than a simple panorama...because of the human factor :)I am curious to see their shot too and I wonder about a horizontal version ....
Great picture,dear friend

Hello Cheuk, a fine, beautiful shot with soft colours and filled with romanticism. The young couple in the front taking a picture of themselves is an essential part of the spice here. A city I would love to see one day...
Very nice work,

aah..beautiful image Cheuk. Extremely romantic, perhaps just the way you intended it to be. Its very endearing - the way she is standing on her toes and the way he has his arm around her back.
The sky is beautiful and the processing is perfect.. You have a very nice touch to processing - never going overboard. Very sensitive and this communicates some kind of tenderness in your images - especially those with people in them.
I love that they are off-center. I am tempted to put this into my favourites, but will resist, through fear that I am just in that kind of mood at the moment..I'm sure it won't last very long! ;)
