Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of the Great Wall of China at Huanghua, about 80 kms from Beijing. Not very touristy at all here, which was nice. This is the "wild wall" from the Lonely Planet books, and right now they are renovating it for the Olympics in 2008. The wall here is falling apart most places, but it is still safe and walkable.
The only annoying thing was that at most towers there would be trolls (local people) demanding 2 yuan before I could pass. Not such a big deal though.
