What's with bus stations, ferry terminals, and airports...is it the sense of the place that makes one feel happy and sad? I find these places quite romantic at times, the last farewell to a loved one, a warm welcome of a friend, perhaps a place where we hate to see them go...
Taken at the Tsimshatsui Promenade with the Star Ferry as backdrop. |

Hi Jom,
This is really touching. We really hate to see them go.
Capturing the last hug is really good, but I would love to see much more of the area.
Thanks for sharing,
Deniz
Good daily life street shot Jom. A little flat but color isn't what the photo is about. Great composition and good note (PS - I think you mean't "quite" not "quiet"). The DOF is good and your POV is also very good. I like the placement of the couple on the extreme right...
Nice job.
John
I actually like the muted colors in this shot; it feels like they're appropriate for the mood. Was this shot taken behind a glass window? There seems to be a light refection near the couple. Thanks for sharing.
