[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was taken in an foggy morning in ZhaoXing, the bigest Dong village in GuiZhou. The drum-tower in the photo is just the sign of dong village. Almost every dong village has one or several drum-towers built in its center and drum-tower is always the most important building there for village meeting, DaGe performance and other serious events.

Good choice of black and white for this photo. I like the architecture of the drun tower. I think that you should have made sure to capture the top of the tower though, instead of cutting it off at the top.

Excellent composition, choice of lens. i think the tight crop works because it minimizes the cloudy sky. The crop allows us to focus on the lines of the architecture / roofs.
