Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken this morning in Victoria Park at about 7am - while the sun was still rising.
This photo shows about half the Falun Gong practitioners, who took part in the morning meditation.
As a workshop, I have posted an overall view.

From Wikipedia
Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a system of "mind and body cultivation" introduced by Li Hongzhi (whose surname is Li) to the public in 1992. Falun Gong has five sets of meditation exercises (four standing and one sitting meditation).
Falun Gong has been the focus of international controversy since July 20, 1999, when the government of the People's Republic of China (PRC) began a suppression of the movement nationwide, except in the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. The Chinese government claims to have banned the group for illegal activities.
An English language newspaper in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post, has characterised Falun Gong and other similar groups as "anti-China fronts for the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that use the human-rights stick to bash the motherland."

A very nice picture with the pattern made by the repetitive poses. It's an interesting journalistic picture in presenting the present state of the Falung Gong in Hong Kong. I am not sure abut this sect or its motives, but I am pleased to see that it has some freedom in Hong Kong, at least. regards Kevin

Nice and original compo.
I like a lot how the geometric lines of yellow dressed people appears in the image.

Hi Andrew, glad to see you've started posting quite frequently again.
Great subject here, such a lot of things seem to go on in your local park, how lucky.
For the compo here I think I might have cropped above the rails, don't think the trees in the background contribute much, and detracts a biot from the graphism of the subject.
