take away the chinese writing and these girls could be the same ones i followed down and through loughborough market here in the uk - the clothes and mobile carrying just the same - difficult to know if this is an altogether good thing or not - globalisation of even teenage culture - do the teenagers have any special teenage or youth movement specific in fashion etc to China - i hope so - could the picture be lightened up a little perhaps ? thanks for sharing

Hi Sushil,
You said any critique is welcome, so I'll give you mine, but it's not going to be very positive. I'm afraid this photo is a very ordinary, low-end point and shoot photo that anyone without any knowledge of taking photos could take; it's not the work I'd expect from someone claiming an interest in photography. Why?
1. The composition is terrible, and was done in a microsecond. The sky in the upper right is distracting and out of place; all other elements don't fit together.
2. Everything is jumbled together, with many irrelevant objects (cars, signs...) thrown together in places that obstruct the main subject.
3. Poor timing; you just whipped your camera out and shot, didn't you?
4. The shutter speed was too slow, and the result is pretty serious camera shake; everything is blurry, and not in an interesting way.
That's what I feel when I see this shot.
